History: Jin was born to Korean parents, but his father died in an car accident when he was still an infant. Frankly, Jin remembers nothing about him but his mother often mentioned that he resembled his father a lot. Four years after his biological father’s death, his mother met and fell in love with a Spanish hacienda owner while he was on vacation in Seoul. He became the only father that Jin ever knew. The stepfather as a kind yet strong person and had loved Jin like he was his own son. The most important times of his life were thanks to him. From the marriage, he got twin brothers, Basilio (9) and Crispin (9); a sister, Maria Clara (6). The twins always came to him for advice and Maria just enjoyed her brother's attention. Despite his stepfather’s request, he kept his Korean name. He didn’t remember his biological father at all but he wanted to keep something from him even if he didn’t have any memories at all. His name, ’Jin’ means Gold, Truth, Treasure... and ‘Ha-Neul’ means sky. Jin had learned many things from his stepfather like etiquette and how to speak like a gentlemen. He also taught him the importance of being gallant to women. From him, he learned to open doors and pull up a seat for ladies and speaking politely. He taught him how to be stern with his heart too. A reason why he always treats everyone politely but with a smile that was bit practiced. When he was still young, Jin was a very small and chubby boy. When he went to school, he was often made fun of by his classmates because he was so small. He always fought back. He was one of the most intelligent in his class but it wasn’t unusual to see him punished by the teacher for his fighting outside school. Later, he was introduced to basketball and joined the Varsity team. Admittedly, he wasn’t the tallest one in the team but he was talented enough to become a regular. His bestfriend on the team is Spanish boy named, Elias. He knows four languages, Korean, Spanish, English and Japanese. His mother taught him a few dances she knew from Korea and that was where his interest in dancing began. His stepfather began to teach him some Spanish dances too such as the tango. After that, he began taking lessons for modern dances. However, basketball remained his first love. Around the later part of his high school life, he met his girlfriend, Salome. Since Jin is such an introvert when it came to people, it was the girlfriend that first asked him out. Finding her unusual and interesting, they dated and continued to date for about six years… on and off. Upon graduation, he graduated with honors. Wanting to continue his studies, he decided to enroll at Evergrove. It was far away from home and it would give him an opportunity to live on his own. He took care of everything without saying a word to his parents. His transfer papers, his apartment, his appliances and furnishings were all taken care of by him. The only person that knew about his transfer plans was Elias and he wasn't saying anything. Jin knew that his parents would insist that he stayed and continued his studies in Spain. He wrote an application to Evergrove and his parents’ first choice, University of Navarra. It was a private school in Spain. He passed in the other school and now he awaits the rejection or acceptance letter to Evergrove. If he was given a rejection, then he would comply with his parents’ choice and remain in Spain. But if he was accepted, he would quietly leave... and not even saying a word to his girlfriend.
